Long-time student of the esoteric here. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Shipping was quick too.
Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages.
I keep coming back to this one. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Five stars from me.
