Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Definitely recommend.
Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.

A friend in my study group recommended this one. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. The font runs small in the appendices. Solid, if not essential.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Good, with the caveats above.
I keep coming back to this one. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Still worth having on the shelf.
