Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Well worth it.
My book club chose this last month. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Definitely recommend.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Good, with the caveats above.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Solid, if not essential.
Added this to my reference shelf. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Happy enough with the purchase.
This has been on my wishlist for months. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. It's become a regular reference in my practice. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Still worth having on the shelf.
