Added this to my reference shelf. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Solid, if not essential.
Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. You can tell why this work has endured. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected.
This edition finally does the material justice. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. A keeper.
