Exactly what I was looking for. A text you study rather than simply read. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
This has been on my wishlist for months. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Happy enough with the purchase.
This edition finally does the material justice. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Still worth having on the shelf.
