Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. Every rereading turns up something I missed. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Well worth it.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. Still worth having on the shelf.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
Finally got around to ordering this. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. One of my better finds this year.
