Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. One of my better finds this year.
This exceeded my expectations. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Solid, if not essential.
Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. Five stars from me.
