Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. You can tell why this work has endured. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm.
Took a chance on this and glad I did. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Every rereading turns up something I missed. Definitely recommend.
This edition finally does the material justice. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Solid, if not essential.
