This exceeded my expectations. It's become a regular reference in my practice. Happy enough with the purchase.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Solid, if not essential.
This edition finally does the material justice. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Happy enough with the purchase.
Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. You can tell why this work has endured. Still worth having on the shelf.
Took a chance on this and glad I did. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. The font runs small in the appendices. Recommended with reservations.
