My book club chose this last month. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. The font runs small in the appendices. Happy enough with the purchase.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. You can tell why this work has endured.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Good, with the caveats above.

I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Solid, if not essential.
