Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. A text you study rather than simply read. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Well worth it.
I keep coming back to this one. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. A text you study rather than simply read. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Highly recommend to serious students.
Added this to my reference shelf. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Still worth having on the shelf.
Finally got around to ordering this. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
