Took a chance on this and glad I did. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Still worth having on the shelf.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
