My third book from this store and this one might be the best. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. Great value for what you get.
My book club chose this last month. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Good, with the caveats above.
Added this to my reference shelf. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Highly recommend to serious students.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Solid, if not essential.
