A friend in my study group recommended this one. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Glad I finally picked this up.
Was skeptical at first. Every rereading turns up something I missed. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. One of my better finds this year.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Happy enough with the purchase.
This edition finally does the material justice. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. You can tell why this work has endured. Still worth having on the shelf.
