A friend in my study group recommended this one. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Still worth having on the shelf.
Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
This exceeded my expectations. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Every rereading turns up something I missed. A keeper.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way.
