Exactly what I was looking for. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Highly recommend to serious students.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
Was skeptical at first. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Good, with the caveats above.
