I keep coming back to this one. A text you study rather than simply read. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. A keeper.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Still worth having on the shelf.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Glad I finally picked this up.
Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Every rereading turns up something I missed. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted.
