This edition finally does the material justice. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. It assumes more background than a beginner might have.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. You can tell why this work has endured. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Happy enough with the purchase.
Finally got around to ordering this. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere.
My book club chose this last month. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
