I keep coming back to this one. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Recommended with reservations.
Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Good, with the caveats above.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Some archaic spellings slow things down.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. The font runs small in the appendices. Recommended with reservations.
Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles.
