Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Good, with the caveats above.
My book club chose this last month. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. One of my better finds this year.
