First purchase from this shop. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. You can tell why this work has endured. Well worth it.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious.
Finally got around to ordering this. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. A keeper.
Exactly what I was looking for. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. One of my better finds this year.
Added this to my reference shelf. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
