I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Solid, if not essential.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. Great value for what you get.

Added this to my reference shelf. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected.
