As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. Great value for what you get.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. The font runs small in the appendices. Good, with the caveats above.
This edition finally does the material justice. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. It's become a regular reference in my practice. Highly recommend to serious students.
