This has been on my wishlist for months. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Solid, if not essential.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. A text you study rather than simply read.
I keep coming back to this one. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Great value for what you get.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. You can tell why this work has endured. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Still worth having on the shelf.
Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. The historical context alone makes it worth the price.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Happy enough with the purchase.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
