Needed this for my research. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Solid, if not essential.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. A text you study rather than simply read. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.
This edition finally does the material justice. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm.
Took a chance on this and glad I did. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Recommended with reservations.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Shipping was quick too.
