A friend in my study group recommended this one. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. Well worth it.
My book club chose this last month. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Good, with the caveats above.
Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Every rereading turns up something I missed. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. You can tell why this work has endured. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Happy enough with the purchase.
