Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. One of my better finds this year.
First purchase from this shop. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Solid, if not essential.
I keep coming back to this one. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Recommended with reservations.
