Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Good, with the caveats above.
My book club chose this last month. A text you study rather than simply read. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Still worth having on the shelf.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. You can tell why this work has endured. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
I keep coming back to this one. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. One of my better finds this year.
Took a chance on this and glad I did. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Solid, if not essential.
