Grabbed this during a weekend order. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Definitely recommend.
Took a chance on this and glad I did. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Happy enough with the purchase.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Solid, if not essential.
