Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. A text you study rather than simply read. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
I keep coming back to this one. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Five stars from me.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. You can tell why this work has endured. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. Every rereading turns up something I missed. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Happy enough with the purchase.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. The font runs small in the appendices. Still worth having on the shelf.
