Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. Highly recommend to serious students.
As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. You can tell why this work has endured. It assumes more background than a beginner might have.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Some archaic spellings slow things down. Solid, if not essential.
