Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. A text you study rather than simply read.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Solid, if not essential.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
My book club chose this last month. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. One of my better finds this year.
