Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. Shipping was quick too.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Every rereading turns up something I missed. Good, with the caveats above.
Took a chance on this and glad I did. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Happy enough with the purchase.
This exceeded my expectations. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted.
This has been on my wishlist for months. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way.
I keep coming back to this one. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. The font runs small in the appendices. Recommended with reservations.
