Exactly what I was looking for. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Already eyeing my next order.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Recommended with reservations.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. The font runs small in the appendices. Happy enough with the purchase.
This edition finally does the material justice. It's become a regular reference in my practice. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. A few pages arrived with light corner wear, though nothing serious. Recommended with reservations.
