Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. The font runs small in the appendices. Good, with the caveats above.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. The font runs small in the appendices. Happy enough with the purchase.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. Deserves a place on any esoteric bookshelf.
Took a chance on this and glad I did. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Already eyeing my next order.
Finally got around to ordering this. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes.
I keep coming back to this one. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected. Happy enough with the purchase.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. Already eyeing my next order.
