Grabbed this during a weekend order. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. Would buy from this store again.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Some archaic spellings slow things down.
Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today.
Was skeptical at first. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers.
This edition finally does the material justice. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Still worth having on the shelf.
