This edition finally does the material justice. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
This edition finally does the material justice. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. The font runs small in the appendices.
I keep coming back to this one. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Solid, if not essential.
Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Definitely recommend.
