As someone who reads a lot in this field, I can be picky. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. Every rereading turns up something I missed. My only quibble is the cover feels thinner than expected.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. One of my better finds this year.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Well worth it.
Took a chance on this and glad I did. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Already eyeing my next order.
