Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Great value for what you get.
I keep coming back to this one. Every rereading turns up something I missed. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. One of my better finds this year.
Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. Five stars from me.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Solid, if not essential.
Finally got around to ordering this. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Happy enough with the purchase.
Added this to my reference shelf. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Great value for what you get.
