Finally got around to ordering this. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Every rereading turns up something I missed. Already eyeing my next order.
Long-time student of the esoteric here. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Some archaic spellings slow things down.
My third book from this store and this one might be the best. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Good, with the caveats above.
