Added this to my reference shelf. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes.
Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. The ideas are old but land with surprising force today. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.

I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Still worth having on the shelf.
