Long-time student of the esoteric here. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Still worth having on the shelf.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Solid, if not essential.
Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. Every rereading turns up something I missed. It's become a regular reference in my practice.
