Took a chance on this and glad I did. The language takes some getting used to, but it becomes part of the charm. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Still worth having on the shelf.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. My only regret is not ordering it sooner.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. Some sections stopped me cold in the best way.
A friend in my study group recommended this one. A text you study rather than simply read. The typesetting is comfortable for study, with good margins for notes. Five stars from me.
Grabbed this during a weekend order. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition. A keeper.
