Added this to my reference shelf. A text you study rather than simply read. A keeper.

Took a chance on this and glad I did. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. Great value for what you get.

Not my usual area but wanted to branch out. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Already eyeing my next order.
This edition finally does the material justice. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure.
