Added this to my reference shelf. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
Exactly what I was looking for. Every rereading turns up something I missed. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. Good, with the caveats above.
