Finally got around to ordering this. It's become a regular reference in my practice. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. Glad I finally picked this up.
This edition finally does the material justice. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. One of my better finds this year.
