Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. You can tell why this work has endured. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Good, with the caveats above.
This edition finally does the material justice. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. It pairs well with more modern commentaries on the same tradition.
Exactly what I was looking for. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Solid, if not essential.
I've read excerpts online before, but having the full text is different. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. If you're drawn to this subject, don't hesitate.
