Was skeptical at first. I found myself reading passages aloud just to sit with them. There's real depth here that reveals itself on a second reading. Already eyeing my next order.
Honestly wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm impressed. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. A text you study rather than simply read. Glad I finally picked this up.
I collect works on this subject and this is a worthy addition. A text you study rather than simply read. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Still worth having on the shelf.
Bought this as a gift for my sister and ended up ordering a second copy for myself. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Shipping was quick too.
Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. A text you study rather than simply read. Recommended if you're ready to do the work.
Been hunting for a decent copy of this text for ages. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. It connects ideas I'd only seen treated separately elsewhere. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Solid, if not essential.
