Came across this title in a footnote and had to track it down. It reads better in small doses — a chapter at a time with notes. The material is presented clearly and the structure makes it easy to revisit key passages. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Good, with the caveats above.
Was skeptical at first. The symbolism is layered and generous to patient readers. Challenging in places, but never needlessly obscure. Well worth it.
Perfect companion for my morning study sessions. Plenty of passages worth underlining; my copy is already full of margin notes. Shipping was quick too.
Added this to my reference shelf. The text itself is dense but rewarding — you get out what you put in. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. It assumes more background than a beginner might have. Recommended with reservations.
