I keep coming back to this one. The historical context alone makes it worth the price. I appreciated how the argument builds steadily from first principles. Will be gifting a copy to a friend.
Ordered this after seeing it referenced in another book I was studying. It rewards patience more than any book I've bought this year. Great value for what you get.
Arrived faster than expected and well packaged. Solid binding, decent paper — holds up to heavy use. Some chapters demand a slow, careful read, and that's exactly the point. Delivery took a bit longer than quoted. Solid, if not essential.
Finally got around to ordering this. Not a light read, but far more accessible than I feared.
This exceeded my expectations. The print is clean and easy on the eyes for long sessions. I'd have loved an index, but that's on the original text. Good, with the caveats above.
